Q: What is your name?

A: Mark Eyjolfson

Q: Where is your hometown and where are you located now?

A: Raised in Vernon, B.C., now living in Kaleden, B.C.

Q: What did you take at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ? When did you graduate?

A: I took the Sustainable Building Technology (SBT)  Diploma, (formerly know as the Sustainable Construction Management Technology Diploma). I graduated in 2017 from the Penticton campus. 

Q: What is your current position?

CAD Detailer.

Q: Why did you choose your program at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ? How does it relate to what you’re doing now?

A: I was keen to focus on the construction industry and sustainability.

Q: What was one of your most meaningful memories during your time at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ?

A: Presenting a 3D model fly through video for the Vernon Cohousing Community.

Q: What do you think has been the biggest turning point for your career success?

A: A class field trip to Structurlam where we were informed about a summer internship which I was awarded.

Q: Are there any awards, achievements or activities that you would like to highlight?

A: The SBT students received many awards from different donors and they were all very important to our success.

Q: What advice would you pass on to current/future students?

A: Keep focused on the goal, but enjoy every moment.

Q: When you’re not working, what are you doing?

A: Playing in the snow with my son and daughter.
