香港六合彩开奖结果查询 faculty member Amy Modahl presents Redactions at the Kelowna Art Gallery
Art has a way of revealing the unspoken, inviting us to reflect on what lies beneath the surface. On December 5, 香港六合彩开奖结果查询 instructor and multidisciplinary artist Amy Modahl will present her latest body of work, Redactions, in a captivating talk and guided tour at the Kelowna Art Gallery.

A collection of paintings on canvas and paper, Redactions delves into the interplay between semantic and asemantic expression, challenging viewers to interpret the space between sense and nonsense, structure and abstraction.
鈥淢y work stems from an interest in how language can function visually as well as textually,鈥 explains Modahl. 鈥淲ith Redactions, I wanted to explore the boundaries of understanding and self-expression, and how meaning emerges鈥攐r dissolves鈥攊n that in-between space.鈥
The evening will also feature Julia Prudhomme, whose poem 鈥渉ellhole鈥 is included in the Redactions exhibition catalogue. Together, Modahl and Prudhomme will take visitors on a thought-provoking journey through the exhibition, offering insights into the relationship between visual and written narratives.
Based in Salmon Arm, Modahl is a multidisciplinary artist celebrated for her work in painting, drawing, stop-motion animation, and performance.
