"We are incredibly excited to be able to welcome future students to our campuses this fall," said Dr. Samantha Lenci, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ Provost and Vice President, Academic. "Events like these are an excellent way to explore and experience Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ first-hand, to get your questions answered, and to learn about programs, pathways and supports available to students."
During the open houses, the College will be open to the public for anyone who is curious about programs and courses.
"Whether you are stepping into a college classroom for the first time or are returning to education, this is a wonderful opportunity to get a sense of what awaits you at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ - to help make it easier for you as you make decisions about your next steps," said Lenci.
Applications for the 2024/2025 academic year are now open, and students looking to start sooner can also explore a number of courses and programs that begin this year. Visit Apply Now page to find more information and apply online. Open House attendees can apply on the spot and have the application fee waived at the event.
The fair is a chance for attendees to hear from professors and instructors about the College's various portfolios (faculties), which boast more than 150 programs spanning Arts, Business, Continuing Studies, Health and Social Development, Science and Technology, food wine and tourism, and Trades and Apprenticeship.
Attendees can expect to get information about pre-requisites and admission criteria required for their program of choice.
As Alison Gibson, Dean of Community Engagement and Careers points out, Open House is an opportunity for future students to experience firsthand the welcoming, engaging Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ community.
"This event shines a light on the many options students have at the College. Our open house introduces students and families to the ways we will welcome them, work with them and support them through their post-secondary experience and into careers," said Gibson.
"We're deeply proud of the inclusive and supportive environment at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ, in and out of the classroom. We invite the community to stop by and be inspired by what awaits you at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ as you continue your learning journey."
